Black Angus Construction is small company that brings an individual eye to each project. No cookie-cutter houses here. We understand that there is a relaxed coastal lifestyle here on the Eastern Shore and we aim to communicate that through our design and architecture. We are a boutique builder working on a small number of quality projects each year. But to each of those projects we bring a level of perfectionism and knowledge that leaves our clients confident in their homes. We do not strive to be the biggest, but we hope to be the most important to the people who live or work in our homes or neighborhoods.

Black Angus Construction was started by Thomas Toombs out of the need from friends for a personal, professional, and ethical builder who was not only intimate with all aspects of the construction process but was someone that could be trusted.  Originally only doing work for select clients who already had an established relationship with Thomas Black Angus Construction has now grown by word of mouth and referrals from those satisfied friends.

Black Angus Construction is a fully licensed and insured builder. 

The namesake and logo of our company is Thomas' late dog, Angus.  Angus used to accompany us to the job site daily and is now there is spirit to insure a fun, loyal and safe work site.
